How Acupuncture Works
Acupuncture effectiveness is well documented as an ancient, traditional method. Traditional Chinese Medicine believes that human beings are complex bioelectric systems. That means the human body is an inseparable whole unit, and the whole is constituted by several systems. Each system connects an important internal organ inside (such as heart, lung, kidney etc.), and each system has it’s own specific pathway on the body surface. These pathways are called meridians. Energy circulates throughout the body along well-defined pathways. The internal organ is energetically connected to it’s own external pathway. So if one internal organ’s condition has changed, then that will definitely affect the external pathway’s condition (energy circulation). On the other hand, if the external pathway’s condition has changed energy circulation is disrupted. The internal organ’s condition will be affected as well.
Acupuncture and Moxibustion treatment works by stimulating and regulating the energy circulation in meridians to affect related organs in a good and effective way. This makes both external and internal functions of the human body regain normal conditions. Every meridian is formed by several special points called acu-points.
Needles are placed on the acu-points and then manipulated, resulting in the opening of the meridian blockages thus promoting Qi flow. We treat diseases by stimulating and regulating these acu-points on meridians which activates your energy along these meridians.
