The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued a recommended
provisional list of 43 kinds of diseases amenable to acupuncture
treatment in 1979. These diseases include respiratory ailments, pain and chronic
pain conditions, PMS and other gynecological disorders, gastrointestinal
disorders and many other health problems. Acupuncture &
Moxibustion are very effective in treating over 400 kinds of disorders in
China, with more than 100 of them being alleviated almost immediately. Below
is a small list of commonly treated conditions by Acupuncture & Moxibustion in the
